WGC Group’s story began at Pravat Timbers, where I honed my skills in all aspects of woodworking. With a rich heritage spanning generations, Pravat Timbers specializes in sawing and veneer manufacturing. Here, I learned the intricacies of the craft, from operating machinery to maximizing log yields.
This experience instilled in me a deep appreciation for precision and quality, values that we carry forward at WGC Exports.
Building a Skilled Workforce
Throughout my journey, I’ve trained and prepared over 10,000 skilled woodworking professionals. As technology evolved, we embraced CNC-based equipment and invested in advanced machinery like Flatbed UV Printers, CNC Routers, and Laser Cutters.
We prioritize continuous learning, ensuring our team can operate, maintain, and troubleshoot these machines for seamless production.
Navigating Challenges, Embracing Innovation
The COVID-19 pandemic presented unique hurdles. We prioritized staff safety by implementing strict protocols and encouraging daily immunity-boosting practices inspired by our ancient Indian food traditions. These measures, combined with clear guidelines, yielded positive results for our team of over 60 workers.
This experience ignited a passion to share this knowledge with the world. We believe that incorporating certain herbs and spices, staples in Indian cuisine, can contribute to a stronger immune system.
Our Mission: Sharing the Bounty of India
Driven by this purpose and our expertise in proper edibility, we’ve embarked on a new chapter: WGC Exports. This venture expands our operations beyond woodworking, allowing us to export high-quality agricultural products from India.
With our in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and packaging in the agro-products field (gained over the past 18 months), we’re confident in delivering exceptional value to our customers.
